The Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) is proud to celebrate its 50th anniversary throughout the 2025–26 athletics season. Since 1976, the Honda Cup has recognized “the best of the best” in women’s collegiate athletics, honoring excellence in athletic performance, leadership, academic achievement, and community service.
As part of this milestone year, the CWSA is launching Collegiate Women Wednesdays, a season-long campaign spotlighting past Honda Cup winners, the Collegiate Woman Athletes of the Year. Each week, we’ll honor one of these trailblazing student-athletes whose stories have inspired generations.
The yearlong celebration will also feature campus pop-ups, special recognitions, and culminate with a historic live broadcast of the 2026 Collegiate Women Sports Awards presented by Honda, in New York City on July 27, 2026, on CBS Sports Network.
Join us all year long as we honor 50 years of the Honda Cup and the remarkable athletes who embody the strength, resilience, and spirit of women in college athletics.
