Jordynn Dudley | Florida State | Soccer
Jordynn Dudley, a junior from Florida State University, has been named the Honda Sport Award winner for Soccer for the Class of 2026, as announced today by Chris Voelz, Executive Director of The Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA).
The announcement comes during a landmark moment for the organization, as the CWSA celebrates its 50th anniversary during the 2025–26 collegiate athletics season. For five decades, the Honda Sport Award has honored the nation’s top women athletes in 12 NCAA-sanctioned sports, symbolizing “the best of the best in collegiate athletics.” Dudley is now a finalist for the prestigious Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and Class of 2026 Honda Cup, to be presented live on Monday, July 27, at 7 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.
Dudley was selected via a nationwide vote of administrators from over 1,000 NCAA member schools. The other finalists for this year’s award were Jasmine Aikey (Stanford), Seven Castain (TCU) and Izzy Engle (Notre Dame).
“Thank you to the voters for selecting me for this prestigious award,” said Dudley. “Many incredible players have come before me and won this award, including former FSU players. I am humbled to be alongside this very talented group.”
Dudley, hailing from Milton, Ga., has emerged as one of the most dynamic players in collegiate soccer and is a finalist for the 2025 MAC Hermann Trophy. The forward is a three-time MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist and a two-time United Soccer Coaches All-America First Team selection, making her the first player in program history to earn All-America honors in each of her first three seasons, including two First Team nods.
Dudley played a pivotal role in Florida State’s 2025 NCAA Championship run, helping lead the Seminoles to the national title and becoming a two-time member of FSU’s championship teams following her earlier title in 2023. She is a three-time All-ACC and All-Region First Team selection and earned ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors twice during the 2025 season.
During the 2025 campaign, Dudley led Florida State with 14 assists, 36 points, and 88 shots, while ranking second on the team with 11 goals, including three game-winners. She recorded points in 13 consecutive matches, posted three multi-goal performances, and delivered at least three points in five contests. In ACC play, Dudley led the league in assists and shots while finishing among the conference leaders in points and goals.
Nationally, Dudley ranked among the top players in the country, finishing No. 5 in total assists, No. 6 in assists per game, No. 17 in total points, and No. 20 in points per game. In addition to her collegiate success, she represented the United States at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, helping the team earn a third-place finish and further solidifying her status as one of the premier talents in the sport.
“As their slogan says, the CWSA honors “the best of the best of college athletics,” and that’s certainly what’s happening here,” stated head coach Brian Pensky. “Jordynn has been a joy to coach over the past three seasons, and for every person apart from her opposition, she has been a joy to watch. The combination of Jordynn’s relentless defending, her ability to create for others and her ability to create for herself made her a clear choice for this prestigious Honda Award.”
As the CWSA marks its 50th anniversary, the organization continues its longstanding mission to honor excellence in athletics, leadership, academics, and community service. Since 1986, Honda has contributed more than $3.4 million in institutional grants to support women’s athletics programs nationwide.
