Bio
The winner of the 2025 Honda Cup is Virginia swimming superstar Gretchen Walsh, who captured 23 NCAA individual and relay championships over four years and was a two-time consensus National Swimmer of the Year during her junior and senior seasons. During her outstanding collegiate career, Gretchen also claimed 23 ACC individual and relay titles while earning 28 All-America honors and 28 All-ACC selections. Internationally, she currently holds six world records, won two gold and two silver medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and has earned 25 additional medals, including 22 gold, in international competition. She currently competes with Team USA and also owns a swimming apparel line with her sister Alex, who was also her teammate at Virginia.
